Who’s behind WB Untangled

Coming from a mixed Italian-Macedonian background, Michela Mutovciev is an emerging policy professional specialising in EU enlargement and Western Balkans integration. She holds a Bachelor’s in Social Sciences from Università degli Studi di Milano (IT), a Master’s in Public Administration - International and European Governance from Leiden University (NL), and a Master’s in European Transformation and Integration from the College of Europe - Tirana (AL). She previously served as a Research Analyst on geopolitics and security in South Asia. Her latest work and research followed her passion for Western Balkan politics, focusing on regional cooperation, historical narratives in diplomacy, and the EU’s role in fostering stability and democratic transformation in Southeast Europe.
